Hi there,
I got inspired (big time) the other day, after reading a Tweet thread by a newsletter writer in which he explained exactly how he got to five thousand subscribers in 100 days.
A lot of his growth came from Twitter, and it was recent growth too, which is interesting to me since many people in the writer community say that Twitter is ‘over’.
His Tweet thread inspired me to do daily Tweets and regular Tweet threads. So far my efforts are not getting many results but it’s early days. Consistency is key on most social platforms, and it’s possible that the bulk of his 5000 subscribers signed up towards the end of his 100 day period, after he had gained traction on the platform.
I dived deep into the strategy he used and distilled it into a simple formula for my latest Medium article, which you can check out by clicking the preview below (it’s a friend-link so you can read even if you aren’t a Medium member)
Hope you like it.
Have a great week,
P.S. If you are on Twitter and want a new follower, drop your Twitter handle in the comments and I will follow you.
