What One New Newsletter Writer Did to Go from 0 to 5K Subscribers in 100 Days

I got inspired (big time) the other day, after reading a Tweet thread by a newsletter writer in which he explained exactly how he got to five thousand subscribers in 100 days.

A lot of his growth came from Twitter, and it was recent growth too, which is interesting to me since many people in the writer community say that Twitter is ‘over’.

His Tweet thread inspired me to do daily Tweets and regular Tweet threads. So far my efforts are not getting many results but it’s early days. Consistency is key on most social platforms, and it’s possible that the bulk of his 5000 subscribers signed up towards the end of his 100 day period, after he had gained traction on the platform.
