The post on Medium is a metered (members only) post so if you don't pay for Medium that could be why you weren't able to comment, perhaps? Glad you like the article.
hey wow that's weird, you should def be able to comment. I checked all my settings and settings for the post and couldn't find one that would restrict comments. Perhaps its your browser: desktop or mobile or app?
