Funny how we'll keep embedding Tweets on here even with Musk doing all he can to prevent us.. I wish some dev came up with a dual solution for Tweets in Substack and a social preview for Substack in Tweets? Is Musk smarter than all the devs on Substack?

I'm in the process of switching over to Substack from Beehiiv and just discovered this issue with not being able to automatically embed tweets. Thanks for the workaround!

Hopefully this silliness doesn't continue for much longer, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Thanks for this!

Very useful! 😊

I don't know why some companies make it so difficult for users - eventually someone will come up with a workaround, so it's not going to stop them.

Stop being so difficult!

Was JUST struggling with this, trying to figure out why my "simply past the relevant URL" was not working! Thanks!

I've been doing this for my Instagram posts too because when I embed an Instagram post the top of the post links to 'author' which is an actual Instagram user - I don't know how to get around that so I do the link in screenshot trick.
